Visit Béziers - The first thing you see of Béziers as you arrive is the Cathedral of Saint Nazaire located in the higher areas of the city, in one of the most picturesque districts. On the Plateau des Poètes, the English garden is dotted with many statues of poets. It is also where the monumental Statue Cascade of Titan can be found. Béziers is the town of Pierre-Paul Riquet, to whom it owes the Canal du Midi, with its canal bridge and the 9 locks of Fonserannes. The Ferias of Béziers take place every year in August. For two weeks, the city lives for its bullfights, bull runs and bodegas.
