Visit Strasbourg - Its river port and its university, its cathedral and its museums, its "Grande Île" and its gastronomy attract visitors from all over the Continent every year. Strasbourg also constitutes an ideal starting point for exploring the splendours of Alsace: Colmar, the Route des Vins (wine route) and Route des Crêtes (mountain road)!
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the historic centre located on the "Grande Île" (Great Island) is the jewel of Strasbourg. A stroll around it (a good hour's walk), and even a trip around it by boat (departure from the jetty of the Palais Rohan), is an absolute must: it will give you two different perceptions of the embankments, bridges and medieval panorama. Eating and Drinking  Strasbourg

Epinal imagery depicts friendly winstubs on the banks of the Ill where you can of course dig into a smoking hot choucroute... But the Alsatian capital also boasts a wealth of far more unusual addresses to be discovered outside the tourist centre!

Serge & Co: a touch of madness in Strasbourg ! - On the Alsatian culinary scene Serge Burckel is what is known as a phenomenon... Trained twenty years ago by prestigious chefs like Jacques Lameloise at Chagny, Jacques Maximin in Nice and Alain Senderens in Paris, this mischievous Alsatian, always on the lookout for new sensations, left to try his luck for ten years all over the world and especially in Los Angeles and Hong Kong. In 2002, Serge set his suitcases down in Schiltigheim near Strasbourg.

Emile and Monique Jung or Alsace as you like it - In Strasbourg, Alsatian sensitivity is expressed admirably in the way they welcome you and set a beautiful table. In this respect, it's impossible not to pay homage to Emile Jung and his wife Monique whose legendary restaurant, located very close to the cathedral, is the very symbol of Alsatian hospitality! Sports & Activities Strasbourg

Le Kempferhof Golf Course. Strasbourg. - 18 holes 6024 metres par 72.

Situated 15km from Strasbourg, this course is rated as one of the top courses in Europe. The initial impression of careful grooming and attention to detail golf course is confirmed when out playing the course. This country parkland course has a beautiful setting of pine, beech and birch trees. Masterfully designed by Robert Von Hagge, Le Kempferhof golf course has been considerably contoured by Mother Nature and has regained the upper hand giving an impression of calm serenity. Do not expect to play to your handicap as beginners may find it un-nerving, although being a flattish course it can be played by all. There are a few dangerous water hazards and precision play is vital. The greens are carefully designed and quite large, but be careful on approach. There is nothing hidden here and no surprises, everything the course demands is on view.
